Duncan Beginners Yo-Yo Return Top with wood green and blue halves. This version came out about 1965 as indicated by the stock number (No. 1044) printed on the front of the card and by the price that had gone up 10 cents since the previous year.

Compare with the Duncan Beginners Yo-Yo Return Top No. 44 from 1963.

This was the last wooden Beginners version that Donald F. Duncan, Inc. released before going bankrupt a few years later. The next time the Beginner was released was in the late 60s under the Flambeau Plastics name. It was made out of plastic, had a metal axle, and cost 59 cents. See the Duncan Beginner from 1968.

The offer on the back of the card was for the Giant Book of Duncan Yo-Yo Return Top Tricks.
