This is a special release of the Diffusion, a collaboration with the radical dance record label Clock Hazard. The editions for this label always are in unique colors.
The 2014 Diffusion by Yoyorecreation of Japan is the second generation of this model. Compared to the first generation model that was released in 2012, this model is only 1 gram lighter. Also, unlike the 2012 version, the 2014 model does not use plastic lense sidecaps. Instead, each body halve is solid plastic with a molded concave center (for finger tip spins).
Uses the Japanese IrPad brand response pads made specifically for Yoyorecreation yo-yos. Also uses Yoyorecreations's own straight concave shaped ball bearing axle that is created with two steps, known as a "Double Straight" (see bearing close-up picture). This version also came with a half spec ball bearing axle for original play, responsive play. Release May 7, 2014.
