The Play Simply No Jive was a collaboration between fixed axle player Ed Haponik and Tom Kuhn yo-yo's. It was produced in two runs, the first of which was available directly from Ed and the second of which was available through Tom Kuhn. A total of 150 were made, 50 in the first run and 100 in the second.
The artwork by Jason Week features Ed yo-yoing on a cliff overlooking a classic island scene, meant to evoke the carved designs of 50's demonstrators.
Depending on the wood and lasering, some of these are nice and sharp. Others difficult to make out the artwork. So also shown here is the original art for the design.
