This one is confusing ... Should it be posted under Duncan, Hyper, or Bandai. Bandai's yo-yo line was called Hyper Yo-Yos, but these were the first release of the Freehand Zero and made by Duncan. Let's go with Hyper.

These were released a few months before the US release of the Freehand Zero, the redesign of Duncan's original Freehand. The Hyper release had one significant difference, sonically welded caps. So the side caps are not removable.

The first release were in two colors, Red Translucent and Blue Translucent. The solid colors came later. And the solid colors were reminiscent of the old orignal freehand colors.
