At the time of its release, the Divault was the best performance yo-yo from Bandai's Hyper Yo-Yo product line-up in 2013, Japan. Historically, it was also the model used by John Ando, a four-time US Nationals winner in the 2A (looping) division, and the 2008 World Champion in the 1A (string trick) division.
Out-of-the-box the Divault is dead (unresponsive) and requires a bind to get it to return to your hand. The yo-yo is made by YoYoFactory and uses weight rings similar to the YoYoFactory Northstar. It also uses a domed side cap like that of the YoYoFactory Protostar. Essentially, the Divault is the combination designs of YoYoFactory's Northstar and Protostar models. Uses a high-quality UFO (aka Center Trac) ball bearing axle for long sleep times and 19 mm slim response pads which is a fairly common size for dead response yo-yos.
