A very unique yo-yo entirely handmade and handpainted. From Haiti.
Side A depicts the iconic Citadelle Laferriere along with two Haitians walking along a path near the base of the fortress, surrounded by vegetation. The Citadel was built in 1820 and was designated a World Heritage Site in 1982.
Side B depicts the Atlantic Ocean and the Turks and Caicos Islands in the distance. In the foreground, Haitians are working the soil nearby a palm tree and a papaya plant with fruit on it.
The diameter of the yo-yo is approximately 65 mm. Wood species is unknown.
