This is an early Flores with decal logo found in 2018. Amazing that these are now almost 100 years old, and can still be found (if rarely) in such nice condition. I had never seen this kind of paint scheme on a Flores, and wondered if the paint was original. But look at the decal ... there are a few flakes missing where it didn't adhere well to the bumpy stripe below. So it is for real.

Amazing too ... it has the original silk string and perfect paint. This one was never thrown in over 90 years since it was made. Not even a finger loop in the string.

This is a smaller Flores at 1.75 inches. I had always assumed that the really fancy paint jobs were done on the larger models. Which proves never assume anything when collecting yoyo. This is an incredible piece.
Paint still has a glossy new shine. If not for a few flecks missing from the decal, I would have rated this one a 10.
