The Galaxyfly is an upgraded version of the YoYoFactory Starfly. Came with a size A center trac bearing instead of a plastic transaxle sleeve used on the Starfly. The body halves are a glitter blue as well, rather than the solid blue of the Starfly. It is also 2 grams heavier than the Starfly.

The Galaxyfly is considered an entry- to mid-level budget throw that uses a starburst response for traditional tug return play (when string is wrapped twice around the bearing), or dead response play (when string was wrapped once around the bearing).

Came with a trick sheet and user's manual that explained proper yo-yo maintenance and simple yo-yo operation.

See also Fly Custom Set.

The "Fly" series of yo-yos (Starfly, Galaxyfly, and Astrofly) was licensed by Bandai from YoYoFactory from 2011-2013. This short-lived series of three different yo-yos had their designs originally based on YoYoFactory's new (at the time) Replay model. The Replay was introduced on a very limited basis at the 2010 World Yo-Yo Championship. It wasn't until 2014 that the Replay was redesigned and in 2015 reintroduced, this time for the mass market.

Original retail price: $19 US.
