The Duncan Sonic Breath (aka Sonicbreath), was first released in Japan in 2011. It came in white and black body versions. In 2012, a blue body version was released. Then in 2013 a red body version, seen in this exhibit, was released. All four versions had the same specifications.
The Sonic Breath is virtually identical to the Duncan Eagle 1, released in 2016. The only difference is that the Sonic Breath uses a size A ball bearing axle, whereas the Eagle 1 uses a plastic transaxle sleeve. Uses a starburst for response.
The 2-in-1 profile of the yo-yo meant you could use it for both string tricks and for looping, all without the need to modify the yo-yo's configuration in any way.
Each yo-yo came with an instruction manual--in Japanese--for care and simple tricks. As with all yo-yos in the Bandai Hyper Yo-Yo product line, you could use this yo-yo for trick certification at an authorized shop.
