A special edition YoYoFactory Spinstar yo-yo was officially released April 25, 2017. The Spinstar is touted as a beginner yo-yo. This particular version, known as the "Around the World - benconde.com" edition was created for yo-yo professional Ben Conde who travels the world teaching people yo-yo. The name "Around the World" and the hot air balloon image, both printed on the yo-yo, seems a very subtle take on the classic 1958 movie, "Around the World in 80 Days".
The Spinstar is a responsive (original play) yo-yo that uses a plastic spool bearing similar to that found on the Yomega Fireball, and a starburst for the response.
