A special edition of the YoYoFactory Spinstar, made exclusively for the Rewind Shibuya Yo-Yo Club in Shibuya, Tokyo. This edition was available direct from the Rewind Japan brick-and-mortar store.
The Spinstar was marketed by YoYoFactory as a great yo-yo for beginners. It was designed to be an easy yo-yo to pick up and start playing for the first time.
This yo-yo is well suited for players regardless of how tall they are or how hard they can throw. The only maintenance needed is to replace the string when it is old or dirty. No other setup, tweaking, or adjustment is necessary, letting you focus on play. Adults and children can play side by side with the same yo-yo. Sleepers are long thanks to the low edge and V-shape body.
The yo-yo's profile is shaped like the letter "V" with a low edge. A low edge means the shape keeps the string away from the response pads. That way, the yo-yo spins longer so you can perform your trick. The "V" also makes it easier to catch the yo-yo on the string, so original yo-yo tricks like Walk the Dog and Elevator are easier to accomplish.
