The Turbo Honey Bee was a special release of the standard ProYo Turbo Bumble Bee.
The Turbo Bumble Bee body shape was used, along with the bee string of yellow-black. As with the Bumble Bee, this model also included a ball bearing axle, and Brake Pads for response. The side caps, however, were customized with the model name and a very light brown honeycomb graphic in the background, all designed by Scarecrow (Matthew Carter). The body halves were a special translucent, honey color.
The Turbo Honey Bee was given as a special gift to then Playmaxx owner, Tom Van Dan Elzen. Several of this model were also set aside by Scarecrow and David Hall of Dave's Wonderful World of Yo-Yos. A few others have made their way into personal collections over the years.
