CYYC's (Chico Yo-Yo Company, started by Thad Winzenz in 2009 out of Chico, California) freshman model was the "Bull Dog" in 2009. It sold out quickly and was soon followed by the "Del Toro" and "Route 66" models.

Shortly thereafter, in 2010, CYYC re-released a "very hot" limited version of the Bull Dog: the "5 Alarm". Its aluminum body had an overall matte finish while the detailed anodizing was done entirely by hand in a bold flames pattern of black, yellow, and red. No two yo-yos, of the 80 produced, are identical. Today, in 2017, it is still one of the most unique and striking anodizing jobs on a full production metal yo-yo.

Uses a size C ball bearing axle and came with an extra set of slim (19mm) response pads. Originally retailed for $105 in 2010.
