String Theory's "Quark" is an aluminum mini yo-yo at 50 mm diameter. Excellent quality and finish. Uses "Theory Pads" for the response, but since String Theory is no longer in business, you could substitute One Drop's "Flow Groove Pads" instead. The engine is a high performance (read: long spinning) size C flat cut Terrapin X ball bearing. The yo-yo was first released September 22, 2010.
String Theory was founded in Dallas, Texas and remained active from September, 2009 to about February, 2013. The brand's Facebook page has not been update since May 2013 (as of February, 2017) and their website www.stringtheoryyoyos.com is no longer online.
To see all mini yo-yos in this museum, in the left panel, click Exhibits.
