A wooden Duncan Beginners yo-yo with one red and one black halve. Imprint has "Reg. U.S. Pat Off" on it which may place the yo-yo in the 1930s. However, it is also possible that the yo-yo is from the late 1950s or early 1960s.

See Duncan factory workers assembling Beginner yo-yos with red string. Courtesy of the Duncan Family Yo-yo Collection at the National Museum of American History, Archives Center.
