Yomega 20th Anniversary Edition in the form of the Yomega Fireball. This anniversary edition was for the Yomega brand, not the Fireball yo-yo itself.

Yomega began in 1983. The packaging used for this 20th Anniversary Edition is from around 2001-2004. What the Duncan Imperial and Tournament models were to American kids in the 1950s and 60s, the Fireball was to kids in Japan in the late 90s during their huge yo-yo boom. It was the most popular yo-yo used. Today, as a result of the boom, many of the very best players in the world are now from Japan.

The clarity of the images in this exhibit are affected by the slight waviness of the soft plastic case that was used to package the yo-yo.

A hard-to-find Fireball edition.

Original retail price: $11 US.
