Hummingbird yo-yo advertising the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, since 1925. Because the yo-yo is in a box, I can only see one side of the yo-yo; there might be another logo stamp of something else on the other side. It took me awhile to figure out that the image stamped in the center was a microphone; it looked to me just like an atomic bomb.

It is unlikely that this yo-yo was sold like this, in a display box. It did not come with a trick sheet even though text on the box describes that it includes one (the text was blacked out with a marker; uncharacteristic of Hummingbird when they were in business in the 80s and early 90s). Instead, it is more likely a leftover Hummingbird box that was used to package a leftover Hummingbird yo-yo. Old stock that was laying around and sold off in 2016. Many such vintage Hummingbird yo-yos packaged in old Hummingbird boxes appeared on eBay in 2016 that seemingly came out of nowhere.

Original retail price: $5 US.
