An early Country Wood Shop, Ltd. yo-yo made from Bolivian Rosewood. This moderately rare wood grows in Bolivia and Brazil with color ranges of brown, black, and red. Sometimes this wood also goes by the name of "Pau Ferro", "Morado", or "Santos Rosewood".
The "Executive" yo-yo line from this time period did not have any identification or other information stamped onto them. If these are purchased without their accompanying box, it is easy for the casual collector to mistake these for a common variety wooden yo-yo. As such, these yos should always be collected in their box. That way you know who made the yo-yo, and the wood from which it was made.
Came packaged with a velour pouch, extra strings, and a trick booklet. | |
