Bandai's HyperCluster PB Star Wing yo-yo released February 11, 2011.
Considered a yo-yo specifically designed for string tricks, it had a wider string catch area compared to the PB Star Loop. It included a plastic bearing and a starburst response. Many other yo-yos in the HyperCluster series used the Star Wing body as the basis for other sets. This yo-yo, along with the PB Star Loop, were the first customizable sets released by Bandai in the HyperCluster series.
This yo-yo used the Star Type Core response system.
The HyperCluster series took the ease of yo-yo customization to a whole new level. The back of the package shows you other configurations you could build using compatible bodies, core parts, and bearings from other HyperCluster-series yo-yos.
Like all the yo-yos in this line, you could use this yo-yo to earn your Hyper Yo-Yo certification from an authorized Bandai Yo-Yo dealer.
Came with the two plastic body halves, star core with axle, plastic bearing (PB), string, user guide, customization guide, and trick guide. See "Other Views" in the SlashDragon exhibit to see examples of the three guides.
