Bandai's HyperCluster MB2-S3 Laser Wing H ThunderDrake yo-yo released November 19, 2011.

The ThunderDrake's unique feature was the use of two red LEDs, one in each core half, positioned in the dragon's mouth. The light added another visual element to the spinning yo-yo. When the yo-yo was at rest, the LEDs were off. The body shape is characterized as "step straight", "hexagonal wing H shape". See the Profile picture.

This yo-yo was the last release in the HyperCluster series that let you purchase a spare ThunderDrake body and ThunderDrake laser core separately. All yo-yo releases after this one used HyperCluster interchangable bodies, bearings, and cores that were already on the marketplace. Uses an upgraded size A metal bearing (MB2 as opposed to a MB) with a starburst response. You can add the two turqoise spacers (S3) that come with the yo-yo to optionally make it play unresponsive.

The HyperCluster series took the ease of yo-yo customization to a whole new level. The back of the package shows you other configurations you could build using compatible bodies, core parts, and bearings from other HyperCluster-series yo-yos.

Like all the yo-yos in this line, you could use this yo-yo to earn your Hyper Yo-Yo certification from an authorized Bandai Yo-Yo dealer.

Came with the two plastic body halves, lighted core with axle, size A metal bearing, string, user guide, customization guide, and trick guide. See "Other Views" in the SlashDragon exhibit to see examples of the three guides.
