Purple side caps which, at the time, was unusual for Yomega. None of their wide range of yo-yo models used purple caps. Same patented, revolutionary, transaxle system inside that made the Yomega Fireball the world's most popular yo-yo... in an uncommon color (at least for Yomega). Supposedly ~50 were made available for sale directly from the Yomega website.

Yomega products are 100% guaranteed against manufacturer's defects for life.

Collected February 12, 2001.

This model of yo-yo was initially released in 1989 under the short-lived name Outrageous Yo. It was Yomega's first transaxle yo-yo. In late 1990, early 1991, Yomega changed the model name to Fireball.

Original retail price: $10 US.
