The Stunt Pilot 3 is a combination yo-yo, off-string yo-yo, and spin top. The performance of the Bee GT, with redesigned, longer lasting Brake Pads, and ball bearing axle. Designed for off- string play like a Diabolo, and for play as a spin top as well. It was supposed to add a new dimension to the kinds of tricks that could be done. Made of indestructible ProYonium, a memory plastic that "heals" itself when you damage it or engage in extreme play. The most distinguishing feature of this yo-yo is that each halve has a small white plastic propeller. The nose cone of the prop extends beyond the plane of each halve so it can spin sideways like a traditional top. It uses a ball-bearing axle for sleep times, and brake pads for response. Came with extra string and brake pads, and a "Yo-Sling" for holding the yo-yo.

See the first model of yo-yo with propellers! Phoenix Engineering Company's "Whiz Back Top" from 1953.

Original retail price: $30 US.
