Dell's Big D Trickster model was made by Dell Plastics Company, Inc., of Brooklyn, 12 N.Y. While the copyright date printed in the bottom right corner on the front of the card says 1961, this model likely came out several years later based on its price of 59 cents. When the Trickster No. 601 was first released in 1961 it had a pre-printed price on the card of 49 cents.
A plastic yo-yo with blue outer shell halves, one inner red disk, and one inner white disk. Seal is stamped in silver.
Note the two solid stars stamped on both the left and right side of the D on the yo-yo. Oddly enough, the D on the packaging has quote marks around it, but the D on the yo-yo itself does not (nor does it have the "T.M." below the large D). In all likelihood, this is an incomplete stamp, rather than a bonafide error.
