This yo-yo model was originally called the "Pamela". It even had the name printed on the sidecap. However, after a brief time on the market (less than six months), the name was removed after it's initial release and was quickly followed up with the version seen in this exhibit. It was--and still is-- touted as the "Worlds first silicon implanted self-balancing glow yo."
On the back of the package it says that "[t]he silicone putty fills the cavities evenly to give a perfectly balanced yo-yo. The more you play, the more perfect the balance as the centrifugal force acts on the silicone."
Has a wooden spool with a take apart metal axle.
Made in China by Peter Fish & Co. Pty Ltd. of London
Collected on March 3, 2001.
Original retail price: $7 US.
