This version of the MAG has performance rings. The rings function similar to the brake pads found on Playmaxx Bumble Bee yo-yos. This yo was the second design released from Custom Yo-Yo. Its release lasted from May 1, 1999 to August 31, 1999. Collected July 10, 1999. The Turbine was released with two different colored halves. In this case, purple and green.
While the MAG series (6 total) included "Special" black limited editions of four of their models, the MAG Turbine and the MAG Stilleto never had such a release, oddly enough.
