Wooden halves are rather unusual. The shape is reminiscent of a Jack Russell Coke yo but looks like a slightly larger diameter. A one-piece yo-yo; very well made. Painted in vermilion red.

This model of yo-yo came out in 1990. By the mid 90s wooden yo-yos began to give way to mass produced plastic and metal yo-yos. By about 2004, the golden age of Tournament-style wooden yo-yos—the staple of yo-yo play since 1928—had all but disappeared.

Original retail price: $7 US.
