Different than the later Goody Masters, the first version was a very unique model. Besides having different logos front and back, it featured a metal axle rivoted into the yo-yo on both sides. This also made it easy to loosen each side independently, and difficult to keep the halves parallel during manufacture, and play. Slightly oversized and thin, decent sleep times were possible. Information on Goody is sparse, but this is an earlier Master from the 40's or early 50's.

Pictured here is a Deep Burgundy Master with Yellow logo. A nice rich color.
