The YoYoFactory Cypher was released as a mystery yo-yo, part of a mystery bag created as a collaboration between YYF and YoYoExpert.com for the World Yo-Yo Contest in Prague. Also included in the bag were stickers, a YYF yo-yo holder, autographed cards of YYF team members, and a Worlds edition YYF POPstar.
The Cypher uses slim silicon pads and a YYF spec bearing, and is specially engraved with the name encrypted using a modified pigpen cipher, which was part of the mystery clues leading up to the release.
While the price of the mystery bag was $45, the Cypher will retail for more than that when the production version is released.
