The Sleep Machine, and Roller Woody, were the first wooden bearing models from Tom Kuhn. The Sleep Machine was the most popular because of its concave shape. Bearing axle and adjustable gap, but the yo-yo had to be disassembled to adjust the gap set screws.

Pictured here is one from the early 1990's. Before this run, Sleep Machines were all clear coat, natural maple. This paint job is striking, with traditional striping like the yo-yos from years past.
