The Fission was the first release from a South African yo-yo company, Radiyoactive. It featured recessed silcone response and textured plastic finish to reduce friction.
The Protos were sold unpackaged and without logos. The main difference is the more unfinished textured surface and the holes around the inside rim. These were meant for adding rim weight, but were filled in the production model.
