Copyright on this string pack design is 1939 but, like the Duncan small globe string pack, these were sold into the early 1940s. Copyright dates are often not an accurate indicator of an item's age or date of manufacture. Another example are the Peanuts character yo-yos sold by Hallmark cards. The copyright on the packaging says 1958 but they were actually manufactured and sold in the 1970s. Still, auction sellers continue to erroneously claim 1958 as the year the yo-yo was made or sold. So, buyer beware!

This particular pack has eight pictures of string tricks on the back. The boy on the front of package is wearing a sleeveless sweater with a Cheerio 99 patch sewn on the front.

Made in Canada by Cheerio Toys and Games Ltd., Toronto, Ontario.
