Based on the design of the introductory model STEP 1, the mold has been renewed and the material has been changed to polycarbonate.
This is a looping model for competitions that has been updated to make looping tricks easier to perform.
The shape of the starburst has been optimize to make it more responsive. The material has also been changed from ABS to polycarbonate, optimizing weight and significantly increasing durability. It is a competition quality model with built-in metal ball bearings.
This yo-yo allows for faster looping, and we can confidently recommend it to competitive players.
Basically, it can be used with just a small amount of oil and regular string changes, so it is also recommended as an introduction to looping.
The Starburst, which is the origin of the product name, refers to the jagged protrusion near the inner center of the product.
The starburst on the model in this exhibit is taller than the regular Step One starburst, and it reliably catches the string and maintains a good return.

Minor changes have been made in this 2024 version from the August 2020 lot, making it easier to loop. For example,
• Adjust the height of the star slightly higher
• Change the nut to a nylon nut
Version 1.2 was released June 2021. Following the success of the SGHG spacer, a mass-produced model specializing in looping is now available. The Stealth Black version is this exhibit was released in 2023.
