I am going to keep this short and sweet. The video goes into more depth and writing up flashy descriptions really isn’t my strong suit.
The Banshee 22 – we continue to update the Banshee to match the current preferences of modern designs. Hard to imagine the original was released more than five years ago. The 22 is more of a modern original than an updated 18. I really went after that zippy float that the original is known for.
55.5mm × 44.6mm – our smallest diameter and widest Banshee weights in at 63 grams. (More comparisons can be seen in the video.)
Drop – I stealth dropped the EDC Gray on Christmas Day. The Deep Purple and Peach will be available in the store 12/30 at 20:00 eastern. Both colors are limited to ten or less units. Moving into 2023 you will see mostly smaller drops to let me work on a larger variety of colors. Splash colors are currently delayed at the anodizer."
On August 25, 2023 at 12:00 eastern, G Squared YoYos held a lottery for one of seven available Banshee 22 models in a Sunrise Swirl color design. Supposedly, seven was the number that passed quality control, so the release was quite small. Ninety-five people entered the lottery for the $175 yo-yo. Winners were notified with a Paypal invoice that contained the following message: Congrats on winning the sunrise swirl b22 lottery! Watch the string on these for the first 20 minutes, there were fine during testing, blast is a tad rougher at this shop. Email me if you see an issue.

Bearing: Size C, Boss Ripper (The Ripper is a stainless steel size C ball bearing. Made to fit all G2 yoyos, and almost all non responsive yoyos. The Ripper has angled edges and a flat center. This way the bearing helps center your string, while still allowing for some movement left and right, that helps you from getting snags mid trick.)

String: G2 Diamond Blend (The Diamond Blend is composed of a proprietary formulation of soft nylon and ZipLine polyester core thread, specifically tailored for G Squared Yoyos. It excels at air cutting whips, reliable binds, and extended performance. The sensation over the fingers is a combination of that slick/soft feel you get from nylon, and the firm rigidness found in performance type polyester strings – pulling from the best of both worlds. These can easily outlast standard polyester strings by several times, have in extremely slow fraying period, and feel nicer and nicer as they break in.)
