A plastic, fixed axle Doraemon mini promotional yo-yo from 1994. The profile is the same as that of a Jack Russell Coke yo-yo with the bulging sides, but in a much smaller diameter (50mm). The text on the header card encourages you to see the latest Doraemon movie which, at that time, was Doraemon: Nobita's Three Visionary Swordsmen from 1994, the 15th Doraemon film. The film was a Japanese animated science fantasy film which premiered in Japan on March 12, 1994, based on the 14th volume of the same name of the Doraemon Long Stories series. The film marked the 15th anniversary of the Doraemon television series on TV Asahi. The sticker text on the yo-yo acknowledges the 15th anniversary of the film adaptation of Doraemon. It is possible that this yo-yo was a give-away to promote the film.
