The undersized Mini Mo-Tu is the signature model of Maurice (Mo) Chavez. Mo was primarily known as a yo-yo designer and modder in the early 2000s. This model was the follow-up to YoYoJam's Mini Mo-Trix, which was slightly larger in diameter.

The Mini Mo-Tu is a hybrid bowtie-shaped throw that had plastic body halves with brass weight rings added to the outer perimeter. The weight rings allowed for better sleep times. Response came from rubber O-rings (size 3). Used a size C YoYoJam-branded ball bearing axle. This yo-yo came stock responsive from its box about the same time that dead (unresponsive) yo-yos began to appear and increase in popularity. As a result, you could use very thin lubrication to turn the Mini Mo-Tu into a dead response yo-yo.

Released November 19, 2004.

Original retail price: $46 US.
