The Cold Fusion Isotope-2 is the lightweight slimline aluminum butterfly yo-yo from Playmaxx. Fifty-three grams, with superior weight distribution for super long spins. Featuring ball bearing axle, take-apart design, and Playmaxx's patented brake pad technology. Uses the old standard brake pads. The brake pad and gap were redesigned compared to the Isotope-1. In a limited edition antique brass finish. Came with extra yo-yo strings, two brake pads, and a yo-yo holster.

From what I can recall, there were fewer than 150 made, but I cannot confirm that number. This model was among Playmaxx's last released yo-yos before Duncan took over in 2001.

Original retail price: $75 US.

Yo-Yo used genuine ProYo replacement parts that included bee strings and cork brake pads.
