The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

The Duncan Chief Yo-Yo Return Top is one of the rarer of the fixed string Duncan models. Around 1957 and 1958, Duncan added many stick on foil logos to their yo-yos. Like the Litening and Rainbow. The stickers were easily worn off and scratched, so these foil sticker Duncans are hard to find in great condition.

An interesting note. The sticker on this one was lifting on one side, and I noticed that underneath was a Special #44 logo impressed in the wood. Apparently created a new yo-yo name, and a hot new logo, to clear some old inventory that was not moving.
