A poster from HPK Marketing to help promote the Yomega Brain and promote Team High Performance's yo-yo demonstrations and tours.

This Yomega Brain Science poster is from about 1998. The Brain yo-yo featured a centrifugal clutch system that opened during the downswing, allowing the yo-yo to "sleep" or spin freely at the end of the string. As the spin time slowed down, the clutch engaged, and the yo-yo automatically returned to the player's hand. The innovative design was like having a built-in safety net for beginners. It was the perfect yo-yo for those just starting their yo-yo journey. The Brain was introduced by Yomega in 1984 and is still in production today (2024).
