The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

This special edition RD-1 was available through the Infinite Illusions website yoyoguy.com. This edition was limited to 50 pieces and has a lustrous blue finish.

The RD-1 was a special wooden model, designed to improve the stability, true spin, and balance of wooden yo-yos. Previous models like the Sleep Machine and Roller Woody alway had a small bit of wobble, because there was no way to make wood NOT warp or shrink with time. The RD-1 is shaped for maximum weight distribution toward the rims for longer spins. The hollowed out centers were filled with an epoxy that also stabilized warping and shrinkage of the wood. The result, a perfectly balanced wooden yo-yo.
