The club began in 1988 and still continues (as of 2023) to meet 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. every Saturday, weather permitting, at the Diamond Alley outside the National Yo-Yo Museum. Supposedly 150 of this model were made. The opposite side of the yo-yo's face featured the Freehand Zero logo in a yellow imprint. The FreeHand Zero was an updated and improved version of the original Duncan FreeHand. Size A ball bearing axle, take apart design, and Duncan Friction Stickers for response. The string gap was adjustable with two sets of shims that were included. A set of silver spacers (pre-installed) for a standard gap and original response/play. And, a set of brass spacers for a wide gap and dead response play. Also came with three collectible counterweights. In this case, a blue rubber bouncy ball, dice with an attitude, and one red dice.
