The contest was held at the Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 6-8, 2015. This same patch was also used for the 2014 Las Vegas Open YoYo Championship. Likely for economical reasons, the year was not embroidered into the patch design so the design could be used in 2014 and 2015. While the patch was not made specifically by YoYoFactory, they were the "Platinum" sponsor of the event. The patch fit perfectly over the breast pocket of a sport coat.
