The Tactic was part of YoYoFactory's fundaMETAL series (#5) from 2009. The weight of the yo-yo was concentrated more toward the center of the yo-yo. This affect was achieved through the use of scalloped, concentric ringed edges on the outer face. The design gave the Tactic not only a very distinct look but also smooth, balanced yo-yo play. Used a size A ball bearing axle and YoYoFactory branded small (19 mm) response pads. This model also came in a size C ball bearing axle version.
