The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Bubble carded plastic yo-yo in the shape of a football. Made by Festival Toys from about 1972 or 1973.

The "Be-A-Sport" series was a product line that Festival made and sold for more than ten years. The series of plastic yo-yos began selling in the late 1960s and continued production, albeit under at least five complete packaging re-designs, until the very late 70s. The series included yo-yos in the shape of sporting goods, including a football, basketball, baseball, eight ball, tennis ball, bowling ball, and golf ball. Yo-Yos shaped like hockey pucks were also made by Festival but were not part of the Be-A-Sport series.

In 1965, just before their bankruptcy, Duncan introduced of their Sportsline models, all in the shape of round sports balls. Duncan re-introduced the same Sportsline yo-yos in 2003 and added the football.
