The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

From the Duncan website:

"Creating a light show on a string is easy with Lime Light! It features a rim-weighted body made of durable polycarbonate plastic encasing special LED light technology that blinks and changes colors and patterns while it spins! Limelight features a replaceable wooden axle for looping tricks giving it the feeling of a classic wood yo-yo in a modern plastic design."

Uses a traditional starburst response. The Duncan Lime Light is the little brother to the Duncan Pulse. To my knowledge, this is the only light-up yo-yo combined with a replaceable wooden fixed axle. Uses four LR1120 batteries for the LED effects. When the first version of the Lime Light was released in January 2014, the yo-yo packaging included four pre-installed batteries and two extra spare batteries. By 2016–as seen in this exhibit–the packaging contained only the yo-yo with its four pre-installed batteries. The wooden axle that was used on the first version was replaced with a plastic transaxle bearing similar what is used on many Yomega models.

Original retail price: $12 US.
