The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

The Beverly Hills YoYo is made from laminated, exotic hardwoods. Considered more of a novelty yo-yo, it is considered jumbo sized at 87 mm diameter; weight is a whopping 132 grams. Used a regular cotton string. Another version of this same yo-yo exists with the Apple logo engraved on one side. That version was made exclusively for Apple employees.

Yo-yo was made by Wood of a Kind, 5767 W. Adams Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90016. Originally sold for $19 each or two for $38. See their ad in the January/February 1990 issue of Yo-Yo Times.
