The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

A Genuine Hummingbird fixed axle yo-yo made out of solid maple, painted in a glossy neon pink, Comet configuration, and purple foil stamped. In the late 1980s and into the early 1990s, Hummingbird's main product line included the laminated wood Trickster, and the solid wood Starburst and Genuine Hummingbird. All three fixed axle models were tournament shape. However, they also made limited releases of these same three models in butterfly shape for a total of six variations.

All six of these variations were released in limited numbers as part of a signature release of Dennis McBride. The signature release had each model's respective name design foil stamped on one side. The opposite sides were also foil stamped with Dennis McBride Yo-Yologist JN 3:15. These yo-yo models are quite challenging to find because of their limited numbers and the fact that they were never sold in stores. They were either sold or given away by the McBride's. All of Dennis' signature models came without any box.
