The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

A 2-color 9 trick Cheerio Bronze Award patch earned by Gerald Schick.

Gold embroidery on heavy black felt. It's fairly uncommon to find Cheerio felt patches that have been cleaned or washed, especially if they were sewn onto a shirt or jacket. The main reason was because the felt portion was not colorfast.

Note also that Cheerio did not use a mesh backing cloth to add structure and resiliency to this patch. This manufacturing technique was used on other Cheerio patches as well.

In 1954, Duncan bought out the Cheerio brand in the U.S.
