This new version of the Tom Kuhn Woody yo-yo was first released February 7, 2017. Same classic body shape and finish as the original Woody from nearly 30 years ago (seen here) but with an updated stamped logo. Same logo appears on both sides of the yo-yo. Fixed axle.

From the Tom Kuhn website:
"We have fond memories of those early days at Tom Kuhn's yo-yo shop, making those original fixed axle WOODY No Jives. What's old is new again indeed! Here is our NEW WOODY, made of hard rock maple, the quintessential fixed axle (not take-apart) classic profile yo-yo. Nicely balanced and weighted, this fixed axle yo-yo is perfect for entry level players to learn and for seasoned players to challenge themselves to 'Old School' play! It is excellent for looping tricks!

No parts to lose, prized for it's ease of play and performance. The Woody yo-yo is beautifully finished with a clear protective coating to enhance the beauty of the natural wood grain. The classic profile is the original yo-yo shape."

Included accessories were a manual/trick guide and five spare strings.

Collected February 27, 2018.

Original retail price: $10 US.
