The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Lumar was a company in the UK that produced yo-yos since the 30's. Lumar produced many tin models, and later plastic. This is an example of their plastic imperial shaped model. Very different than the Duncan's in the USA. This is a hollow shell model and the inner piece is some sort of thin metal sheet material.

I can only estimate the date, but believe this one is a newer version. The stamps on this model vary widely.
