Festival produced their Sports Ball line thru most of the history of the company. Early ones, like the one pictured, had color details in the moldings. After Festival went out of business, the molds were still out there, and these appeared at stores from time to time. Most recently, it appears Duncan acquired the molds for their new 2003 Sports Ball line.

This one is most likely an older version. I've seen these in both this blue, and and in black.
